Welcome to Mollenhoff Acupuncture
I am so grateful that you have found your way here, and I am very happy for the opportunity to help. Whether your concerns are physical, mental, emotional, or spiritual in nature, the principles at work are the same. Acupuncture is a regenerative therapy that supports and improves the capacity to heal through the regulation of the nervous system and the improved circulation of vital substances. It enhances the motivational centers of the brain and allows for deeper stillness, awareness, and insight. It has been used for over 5,000 years to help people find relief, resilience, and more meaning in their lives.
Modalities & Therapeutic Tools
Every treatment is thoughtfully tailored to meet you where you are. Rather than billing for each technique, everything is integrated based on what your body needs that day. Any method may be included or omitted depending on your preferences.

Acupuncture & Classical Diagnostics
Acupuncture offers a calm, grounded experience that helps your system reset from the inside out. Many people feel a deep sense of ease during treatment. you may notice improved sleep, digestion, mental clarity, or pain relief. It's been shown to regulate the nervous system, reduce inflammation, and support circulation and hormonal balance. Each session is tailored to meet your body where it is, using time-tested points to support healing from the root.

Dry Needling / Trigger Point Release
What many refer to as “dry needling” is, in this clinic, recognized as a classical application of acupuncture. The release of muscular trigger points, known as Ashi points, helps to restore normal function and relieves tension. This technique is always integrated into a whole-system approach. It can be firm or gentle, or omitted entirely, based on your preference and diagnostic pattern.
Moxibustion (Moxa)
This traditional heat therapy uses mugwort (Artemisia vulgaris) to warm, move, or tonify Qi. Moxa enhances circulation, immune response, and the release of cold or damp conditions. Especially supportive for fatigue, cold extremities, digestive weakness, and chronic pain, moxa offers the deep, penetrating warmth of natural infrared therapy.

Manual Therapy
Hands-on techniques are offered when useful to help the body settle, release tension, and prepare for treatment. Blending myofascial release, meridian palpation, and classical bodywork principles, this touch supports circulation, nervous system regulation, and the free flow of Qi.

Mind-Body Integration & Support
Conversation and practical tools may be woven into your sessions to support both the physical and emotional aspects of healing. This can include gentle inquiry into what your symptoms may be signaling, guidance around daily rhythms like sleep and nourishment, breathwork to calm the nervous system.
